Digital Literacy

Most people spend hours online every day without understanding how any of it works. I built a framework to change that, and a test to prove it.

๐Ÿ“Œ The 20-minute version

My thesis on why communication education needs to evolve.

20 minutes covering the full theory: how I organize content into four elements, what the Digital Literacy Test measures, and what schools should be doing differently.

Communication education is behind.

The tools changed faster than the curriculum. Most people are online every day with no real framework for understanding what they're doing.

An email, a TikTok, a boardroom presentation. The mechanics are the same. How information moves between people is the most useful thing nobody teaches.

That's what this research is for. A framework and a way to measure where you actually stand.

YouTube, TikTok, X, Instagram, email, websites. Each platform combines these elements differently.

The DLT measures how well you understand these four elements and how they're being used on you every day.
